Fed up with your hard-earned taxes being splurged on high-performance luxury motors for the Fuzz? Well this bit of news should warm the cockles of your heart.
Apparently forces the length and breadth of the country are clamouring to get their hands on Mitsubishi i MiEVs, following its debut in blue and yellow livery at the National Police Show last month.
With a range of 100 miles and a top speed of 81mph, it is the ideal vehicle for urban policing. In addition, with the ability to carry four adult passengers and equipment in comfort, the i MiEV is a versatile community policing vehicle. Or so gushes a new Mitsubishi press release.

"The i MiEVs have been in the UK on trial for almost a year now and we are delighted that Police Forces in the UK are able to see that the future of zero emissions driving requires no compromise," says Mitsubishi's UK managing director, Lance Bradley.
