For those thinking of getting some track time this winter, but haven’t quite made up their minds how to do it, one company is offering taster sessions.
track-club does what it says on the tin – it is a club for people to enjoy some of the best track cars on a circuit.
The track-club fleet has grown steadily since the club’s inception in 2004 and now includes a Palmer JP1 to go with the usual suspects like the Caterhams and Lotus Elises.
Recently the club added an M3 for those who like driving in the winter but don’t like the cold.
The taster days start at £275 and allow people to get a feel for the club and cars before signing up.
The day becomes free to those who subsequently sign up for membership.
Numbers are limited for these events and drivers will spend at least 90 minutes of actual driving time as well as hot laps with a track-club instructor.
The cars used on these days will include the Caterham Roadsport, Lotus Elise, Lotus Exige, Clio 182 Cup, Caterham CSR260 and the Palmer JP1-RS will be an option.
The dates available for the taster events are:
Silverstone – Saturday 12th January £295 (£375 including Palmer JP1-RS)
