It's one of the biggest race meetings of the year and it's club level racing. Brands Hatch played host to a fantastic array of cars last weekend at the CSMA Classic Festival.

All motor racing should be like this - nice weather, plenty of side shows provided by car clubs, the Red Arrows, the Red Devils and various other aerial displays.

Action on the track included Pre'66 Classic and Historic Saloons, Pre'74 Post Historic Touring Cars, Class FF2000, Classic Thunder, Pre '83 Group 1 Touring Cars, Thoroughbred Sports, Classic FF1600, Classic Clubmans, Austin Healeys, Classic Porsches, Sports GTs and MGBCV8s.

It's always particularly enjoyable to see cars race that are closely related to road going cars or are in fact road going cars from only a few years ago. Let's take a quick wander around the paddock:
