Our family BBQ is now booked for Sunday 7th July at Broomhall Castle in Menstrie. We hope that this date suits you and look forward to seeing you all.

Approx timing;

0900 meet for run (meeting point to be decided)
Planning on 2 groups, one for spirted driving and one group for those with kids or taking their time. Might even throw in some sort of treasure hunt (Andy idea).

1100 back to the castle for some pictures that i'm hoping Marty will do for us. There will be a small charge as i would not ask him to do it for nothing. You are welcome to take your own pictures obviously. It would also give anyone living close by time to go home and collect their family for the BBQ.

1200-1600 BBQ.

Price of the BBQ will be £15 per head. Under 12 years will be £7.50 if eating BBQ food or £3.50 if going for chicken nuggets or similar. Under 3 years will be free if only eating a sandwhich or not eating. If you are coming with kids 3-11 years, then let us know what option of food you want.

Dogs are not allowed up beside the BBQ area. You are welcome to walk them down the driveway. I would only bring them if you really need to. The driveway is 100yrds from the BBQ area.

From memory there wil be a limit of 50 adults/older kids, so only add your name when you know you can definately make it. Any comments or questions are welcome. I will clean up the list every few days.

Kenny, I'm unsure of any run participation yet, because I'm due a knee Op - I might be recovering and unable to drive...

Little one will only be 8 months by then, so just two adults for BBQ : )

I'll remove you from the run bit next time i am on my laptop. I presume you will be bringing you wee one to the bbq? Under 3's are free anyway.
