Photo hosting site recommendations, please.

Morning all,
Have seen new Flickr. Intensely dislike new Flickr. Want to leave new Flickr.
Please could people recommend some decent alternatives? I generally just use it for sharing my own photos with friends and family. I don't have many contacts, and am not interested in the whole social media "thing".
I also want to be able to sign in with a normal email address or user name and password - nothing which forces me to use a Facebook login or a Yahoo email address!
I know there's another thread for people to discuss the changes that Flickr have made, so don't want to start a clone here, and would be grateful if people could just stick to recommending alternatives on this thread?

Use ipernity - it's old flickr with a few improvements.
You can register with an email address.
It has all the features of old flickr, and the same pricing system (200 pictures for free, unlimited for £19.99) and it also has scripts to import anything you have on a flickr pro account.

ipernity exists since 2007. We are a small company located near Cannes, France.(where the international film festival is taking place). We are currently 7 people managing everything (yes 7, not 70 or 700). Our team should be growing fast now since thousands of people are joining us.
Are we going to change our layout?
Absolutely not... as our big change has been made a month ago However, we are thinking about proposing OPTIONAL ways to better customize your pages.

Where are the Collections?
Not yet implemented. On our todo-list since 2007 Now we must put this project at a high priority level.
What about smartphone Apps?
The new iPhone app is being reviewed by Apple. We hope it will be available in the App Store within the next few days. The Android app is still under construction.
Uploading your photos to ipernity
A new "flickr.importer" script is available, to import up to 90 photos at once.
Scripts work with Firefox and Chrome.
If you are looking to upload photos from your PC to ipernity with a Drag N Drop method we suggest you choose our advanced tool.

I was on the verge of leaving Photoshelter for Flickr after Photoshelter messed up with their big update, but now I'm less keen on making the move to Flickr as their update seems even worse.
ipernity sounds good, but the fact it is blocked at work rules it out (not sure why it is blocked) other image sites aren't...
What I want is:
Good Lightroom integration (ideally with a publish service)
Ability to upload full res jpegs
Ability to resize images for hosting elsewhere - Flickr does this really well
Metadata etc taken from image and displayed on page
I'm willing to pay for a good service, but what I don't want is the hassle of uploading 20GB of images again when the service breaks/moves the goalposts etc.

I use Picasa for my personal stuff, mainly because I can point the desktop program at a set of folders on my PC and it will automatically upload anything placed in them to a private album which is then automatically synced to my phone, tablet, etc and can be very simply shared via email or link. It's free of charge with unlimited storage and does the job pretty well for family purposes.
Public stuff I have started using 500px but haven't used it enough to really comment.

I don't use Zenfolio, but think it's the way to go if you don't get your own domain and exclusive webspace. ( Which I still think is the best way to go - but appreciate it's not the cheapest way to do it, esp when your website is 5+ GB in size There is a free trial too.

)You can use your own domain with Zenfolio, www.markmullenphotography.co.uk is hosted with them, and their labs fulfill orders for me, but there is very little, if any mention of Zenfolio on the site.

Thanks Mark. I'll take a look at them, when I was looking before they were lacking compared to Photoshelter, but my needs have changed, so cheaper is better. There is a free trial too.

I've just looked and there are about 40+ files larger than that (though I generally erase them once they are not needed)... I put these files on here not to be accessed from my website you understand, but to share with other people. I can't attach to a mail (too large), so I put them on my web-space and e mail a link. I did this twice last month with uncompressed tiffs that were over 100mb in size. Music AIFF files can also be massive and I deal with those all the time - though most people in the music biz have at last cottoned on to Dropbox.Sorry chaps. As you were.
As I say, IMHO Zenfolio is the way to go.
