Around this time last year I looked for a V12V but eventually bought a Bentley Continental GT V8 which was a mistake, its now sold so I’m back looking for a V12V and wondered what you think this is really worth?

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2013...

Its been for sale for months and has a higher mileage than most. Its in good condition but out of warranty and needs a service in August

Also how many UK cars had lightweight seats in colours other than black?

Cracking car with a decent spec. Mileage of 7k pa is not bad at all. Fourth year service on a v12 is not cheap but you would have change out of 1.5k depending on the state of tyres and pads which, if bad, would more than double that.

No warranty.....hmmmm.....If you don't use any of the above items for negotiating purposes then I would certainly use the warranty angle. I personally would not purchase a used Aston without a warranty as I do not know it's history or how it has been driven. You then have 12 months to find out.

Usual checks on paintwork and diffuser / splitter, thorough look over ccms and if possible get to speak to previous owner and servicing agent. smile

Thanks. I've spoken to Grange who supplied and serviced it, its a one owner car. They quoted around £1000 for the service and £1850 for a years warranty but you have to own the car for 90 days from memory before they will give you the warranty

Seems like a no brainer to me for the price.

The car in Bournemouth has been on sale for a long while, I saw it advertised when I was looking to change at the start of the year. It looks like a good car, the nice registration number is not included as far as I recall, I went with a new one in the end.

Guys I would not touch it with a bargepole nono . Mainly because a VERY good friend is interested and I would not want to visit any of your homes to have a chat yes

Seriously a very nice car although it was driven around SPA last year so obviously it is now worthless biggrin, did I mention SPA??

I have just withdrawn my add. Can't get myself to sell it. For a short period of time i tried to be reasonable as I have an F12 coming but than might be months away so I'll deal with that when it arrives. In the meantime i'll enjoy my V12V.
