BTW The average readout is 4mpg over actual (measured) mpg.
AFAIK All the P2s over-read slightly (I've measured mine a few times, and each time it has worked out 4mpg over)....I blame FORD
My XC90 is the same.

It's been on PH for a week, with not a sniff. Mind you, I did post up a huge description listing warts and all, which may be offputting. I've trimmed it down a bit, but am wondering if I should just make it a couple of brief lines without any further details, as I suspect most people can't be bothered reading.
I'll leave it another week or two before I change it though, unless Alex's car goes pop first of course.
ETA: I've been up in sunny Kingsbarns for a week anyway, more or less completely out of cell phone and internet range, so I've not been able to worry about it.

UPDATE:
She's now looking on as her replacement sits warm and comfy in the garage.
MissB has taken ownership of her now.

Minor Update on the S60:
MissB ran me up to Liverpool for the ferry to the Isle of Man TT, then ran up and bought me back again few days later..faultless.
Then had a call from her the other evening, she was stuck at the bottom of the hill unable to change gear...erm ok!!!!
Went down to assist/investigate, the car was stuck in 4th and the gear stick was flopping about (clutch was fine), I popped off the gear stick shroud to have a look and all was connected as it should be there!.
Under the bonnet and from what I could see (without removing airbox/airfeed pipework) all looked ok.

Managed to move the nearest of the two gear selectors by hand and got the car out of gear, towed it home with the XC90 (on 49k btw and running sweet).
Following Morning: pulled off the airfeed pipe and could see the problem straight away.

The cable had popped off the gear selector^^^
Popped it back on with a "click" and gave it a wiggle, it wasn't coming back off in a hurry.

Quick whizz around the block, good as new...very thankful it didn't happen on either of the runs to and from Liverpool though!
Free and easy fixes are the best

Indeed
There's that lovely feeling you get afterwards when a situation goes from a potential "oh s
t" to "oh, it's fixed now".
t" to "what now?"
