The name is just ‘Xbox’ - We will see hardware designs today
- Kinect v2 as standard – it’s no longer an optional extra purchase
- Emphasis on cloud connection – but you can still play games offline
- Blu-Ray drive

Multiple Xbox models at different price/spec points -
All games to be available as downloads on release day, not boxed discs with downloads released later - Lots of chat about Xbox being the living room hub – one box to rule them all (press invites say ‘games, TV and entertainment’)
- HDMI in socket(s) for passing your TV signal (cable/Sky) via the Xbox (enabling recording, overlaid chat widgets, etc)
- There will be game demos and franchise announcements – EA Sports have announced that they have ‘news’ today
- Nothing like Illumiroom – that’s still just a blue-sky research project

No backwards compatibility (good IMO), and they'll continue to sell 360 alongside it (presumably they've got a few warehouses full of them to get rid of). Sounds good to me.
