DTM at Brands Hatch - 18th & 19th May - Page 2 - General Motorsport

The DTM is one of the best event of the year at Brands, well worth a visit, but it's a shame the DTM don't use the full Brands Hatch race track, I think the India track is just to small for the cars.

But surely it is just a parade? Few overtaking chances at all and no chance for the cars to really stretch themselves.

Apparently he set his fastest sector time under a waved yellow flag so they penalised him 5 secs

Yep, I was trackside watching that from the other angle - couldn't believe they did that...it was on double waved yellows.

Well that was a good day. The weather couldn't of been any better. I was expecting the paddocks and car park to be teeming with supercars, but alas, there was none anywhere frown

First time I'd seen (and heard!) one too. The noise as it went down the Cooper Straight was awesome (my shonky attempt at filming it is attached!)

Good weekend, was there with BMW Motorsport so plenty of quality food and drink over the weekend and some time in the garages. Wife even had a few laps as a passenger in the former DTM E30 M3.

Not our usual snatch crew , German crew directed by the German race director who was watching it live and had radio contact with the other cars too.
We wouldn't have done it but they did .
