So, low and behold, when I returned to my car at 20:10 that evening I find a Parking Charge Notice under the wiper.
£100 fine or reduced to £50 if paid within 14 days.

But, interestingly enough, there is absolutely no mention of a time to pay before in there terms and conditions.

I also seen this arguement. I thought that to be succesfuly prosecuted for dangerous driving, a dangerous aspect had to be presented as evidence. If a car passing on the left is hit by the car on the right turning into it, the most likely scenario, surely the idiot on the right who didn't look is at fault? I've happen to have two rear view mirrors on mt car, I presume I'm expected to used both before a maneourve. As per the highway code.

I've not read it, but I'm guessing that's from a thread on the tornado disaster, referring to the US penchant for building houses from wood?
Yes.There's a picture of a concrete kerbstone skewered by a huge wooden splinter, such was the storm's power. Must have been terrifying.

Problem with setting yourself up as an 'expert' is that there will usually be someone who knows more about a subject than you do. And will make you look very foolish when you're wrong.
Humourous definition of 'expert' breaks down to 'ex' as in 'has been' and 'spurt' as in 'drip under pressure', so an expert must be 'a has been drip under pressure'
Not an expert in spelling then.Humourous definition of 'expert' breaks down to 'ex' as in 'has been' and 'spurt' as in 'drip under pressure', so an expert must be 'a has been drip under pressure'
