Looks nice, But I hope you are going to eat it off that plate. Getting annoyed with all this eating off a chopping board bullst!
agree and square plates that look like wall tiles.

round plates only.

steak wise, I had one yesterday, rump, but can't eat without adding cajun/jerk spices, it tastes so much better.

Sometimes we just want different things.

She made a small ploughman's starter which I didn't photograph.

I wanted scallops.

She wanted Sea Bream so I roasted it and served with potato salad and samphire. The mushrooms needed using too.

I had a pair of quail (brace?) in the freezer so thawed the little bodies out, added some secret seasoning and roasted at 210c for twenty mins. Leftover potato salad and a nice sweet, sticky and sour dressing over for extra bite.

Apart from making my potato salad look like steak tartare with the chopped tomato I was pretty happy.

Last night's supper.

To whoever it was who was moaning our food is all bland British crap, I offer Coeurs d'agneau avec saveurs du Maroc:

I think what he's saying, MC, is that there's not a lot going on in your picture to suggest that it's not bland.

Disclaimer: I'm sure it wasn't biggrin

Nice - juicy and chewy meatyness (is that a word?)...no veg in sight. smile

No veg.

You're supposed to serve it in a flatbread with a Moroccan salad made from chopped tomatoes, diced cucumber, finely diced onion, finely diced preserved lemon, and a bit of mint.

I decided I couldn't be arsed with all that chopping.

I'd be on it like a bonnet.

In fact, I'll PM you my address. Doesn't need to arrive tonight, but tomorrow would be ideal - thanks!
