Epic Road trip , Ring-Spa-Le-man
Discussion
Hi all,
I rarely post, but I'm a 3R owner and I'll be visiting Le Man this year for the first time!
I'm taking the Nob and booked a ferry for the Wednesday through till Monday, staying at Le Houx inbetween. I'm hoping to change that slightly and be at Spa the weekend before to watch a friend race, so would be great to see a collection of Nobles whizzing around! Am I right in saying you'll be on track the Monday Simon?
Suggestions welcome for best Spa - Le Man routes!! Places of interest/ roads etc (could possibly visit the Ring between?)
Joe

As I'm sure you know the road works on the main road headed to Spa are horrendous. It took us 81/2 hrs to get from Calais to Spa, and that was trying to avoid the worst. Pot holes you could sink a battle ship in, still, it keeps the mind sharp trying to avoid them!!! Best of luck guys

No I don't think so, we took the direct route, loads of road works as you enter Belgium, past the big concrete cube thingy, you will know it when you pass it!!!
If it's the direct route, then it probably is the northern route. I normally use the E42 via Lille, Mons, Charlesroi etc (what I call the southern route). It's longer, but the roads are (generally) better and you miss the Brussels ring road. Gassing Station | Noble | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
