For several reasons I was delighted with the news that Hamilton would replace Schumacher at Mercedes.
This will give all observers a better yardstick with which to measure Hamilton with the passing of time. Even if he or Rosberg never win another race for Mercedes, unlikely, that 'better' yardstick will still be a reliable indicator of both drivers.
Really looking forward to seeing how things progress at Mercedes F1.
Long wait until the next event when I expect Mercedes and Ferrari to do better providing the teams and more importantly, their drivers get all their ducks lined up nicely ...

The claim was that all the best driver won championship with more than one team. I suggest you argue your points with RealSquirrels, rather than I.
No, you've already taken that one up. I know what he means, you can spend your time bantering over choice of words if you wish, or use choice of facts to disprove an opinion.

What are you arguing with me for then? I did use facts to counter what he said. You questioned what I was arguing against. I told you. What is the issue?

No I didn't, I questioned your choice of facts, a list of drivers half of whom had truncated careers. i didn't intend to imply that winning championships was a prerequisite of being a 'great driver' but I do think it is a useful indicator.
perhaps it's better say that the greatest drivers have had success with multiple teams, even then there are exceptions like Jim Clark, though I guess you can note the success across a range of categories.
little bit of "one half of one sheep in one field is black" syndrome going on here I think.
