70Proof .. Is it your car?
hi, nope, mines the verde gallardo in the picture i uploaded..... TBH if i was going to spend that sort of money, i'd be looking at 670-sv'sre mileage, there seems to be a issue on lambo's around 20k miles, not that they don't sell then, just need to be a little cheaper or take a little longer.... think they are far less mileage sens than fezza's though...

vw group test all their engines to 300,000km, yet the uk dealers, short of stock though several are, generally won't buy anything over 20,000 miles !
The Aventador is a seriously impressive bit of kit. At a recent event by ecurie25 at Bruntingthorpe their LP700 hit 200-203mph THIRTY FIVE TIMES that day - which includes a very hard braking down to 50mph at the end too, and it didn't miss a single beat all day.
Then drove back to St Johns Wood and bimbled through London like it had just left the garage.
It truly amazed me that day, and I've not even mentioned the savage performance or the way it took the pre-straight corner at Brunters at silly speeds with complete confidence.
Oh, and most of those 35 runs were driven by novices too.

Good to hear they are robust though and can stand up to some hammer, but with the testing that goes into cars these days, being sensitive to a few miles does seem a bit daft.
Don't mind the mileage myself, just don't want to pay top price, then to get stung again when it comes to resale.
That looks awesome in green congrats on the new car. Its the only thing i would swap my the 458 for at the moment is an orange car, hoping they might drop to sub 240 in the near future. Just drive it everywhere and do what some main dealers do and shave the miles to 8.5k next year. A friend of mine had a 458 on loan from a main dealer recently for 8 weeks and did nearly 3000 miles in it and it is back up for sale with just 250 miles more than when it was delivered. I guess the other 2750 fell off in the transporter on the way back to the dealer!
Enjoy

Whilst its only 7.5k ... the mileage is my only reservation.
... With another 4-5k miles that I'd likely pu on it, it'll be over 11k which is nothing for the car, but how mileage sensitive are these cars?
There are other cars at similar money with less miles ... The other option is order a new car and "wait" ... But the wait will be a long one I guess.
70Proof .. Is it your car?

I'm not sure the logic of being concerned about the mileage, and assumedly residual value when you add miles, and then considering ordering a new one and the huge hit that come with that, irrespective of the miles you do.....
You say that there are cars of similar price with less miles, that'll be the perceived VI premium

It sounds like you haven't reported this, otherwise you'd say it was up for sale rather than is up for sale...If people know a dealer is doing this and just keep their mouth shut then really they're just as bad as the dealer themselves. You wouldn't want to buy a car that has had this done to it, so don't let someone else get stuck with it either.

That's disgraceful. It's fraud, they should be locked up for that. Which dealer was it?Enjoy

Do tell, PM if preferred
Just to close the loop on this and my poll the other week re cars .... DEAL IS DONE and I collect the car next Friday !!!!!!!
Even better, I went to give the car a final once over, with my deposit in hand ready to do the deal ... The Lambo Salesman was there (wasn't in when I called in at the weekend) and he told me that the car recently had all the 2013 upgrades, gearbox remaps + the switchable sports exhaust from 2013MY cars ... Strada sounds normal (but still fantastic), Sport & Corsa are significantly louder and all controlled via the standard 3 mode buttons on the centre tunnel ... ha ha brilliant stroke of luck.
So ... just a quick thank-you to you all for your input and positive comments
Needless to say .... I CANNOT WAIT FOR NEXT FRIDAY TO COME !!!!
