Has anyone found a luggage rack to sit on the boot? I wondered if there was anything with fittings that don't mark the paint work and that you can remove pretty easily.

Mine has one attached from when I bought it, not sure where it came from but will post a photo when it stops raining! One of the reasons I ended up having a soft spot for mine and buying it despite its needs... Thought it looked quirky.
But it does bolt through the boot lid.

Not very good with links, or Mikes clicky things, but, if you search e-bay for classic boot racks, there are some which have rubber feet and side catches, look easy to clip on/off....

My S3 has the original boot rack fitted as an option as new. In 1991 it was £160!

Never mind the exhaust pipe, what I want to know is if Maffe can make the long haul from Sweden for the S-Club Europe Tours, where has Mike been hiding?

There is little work on it, before I venture out on some longer European trip. wink

We drove about 1500 miles last summer, without any hitches.
It has about 58000 miles.

I give the chassis a thorough review until next summer, then you never know what happens.

I've an adjustable one that has been on a Saab, mx-5, Alfa gt junior and a griff.

With an optional ski mount!

Top bit of kit from an Italian company whose name escapes me. I'll dug it out if interested in detail.

Cost me €220 a few years back with the ski racks.
