It's time to buy Mrs TtD some new smeely stuff, preferably of the Chanel variety, 5 or 19 or Chance. Is it still cheaoer to get it from the Johnnie Foreigners, or are there websites that one can avail oneself of? All advice is really welcome (by the way I live in E Anglia, so it's a bit of a trek to Dover).

{small}Er, I meant where?{?small)

The market. Give it to her over a nice shellfish dinner. Then blame the rash on the food.

Chanel have an iron grip on their distribution chain so it's unlikely that you're going to be able to make any significant savings, sorry.

Any website selling Chanel at crazy prices is either likely to be selling fakes, or is some other sort of scam.

Thanks all for your input. Looks like a good excuse to get on the boat to France.

Amusing thread.

Never understood 'cheap perfume'. If it's for someone you love it doesn't matter what it costs does it?

In my world £50 is a hell of a lot of money. trying to save money whilst still getting something of quality isn't amusing and it matters what it costs regardless of what you can afford.

Well yes it does. Some people are on a budget (we're not all loaded you know wink )and a decent bottle of perfume can be a big expense.

Obviously the cheaper you can get something the more of it you can get or you can "upgrade" to a better perfume. smile

I bought a bottle of chance on eBay. No problems but in a plain white box. Careful you dont get a tester like me. She was still chuffed though.
