I finally received the permanent Carte Gris for my Aston today, it was applied for on the 16th of October.
We're still waiting for the Carte Gris for the Range sport that we bought on the same day.
ANTS must be well behind with things, I can't believe how long it's taken.

We bought a Renault van from a dealer last December the 23 and received the CG before the new year!

Well, at long last, an update. The Carte Grise for the Range arrived today. 5 months, unbelievable.

On the contrary, entirely believable....... at least you got it, my two previous attempts to exchange my driving licence just got firstly returned ( paper version ) after 18 months and deleted after 10 months on ANTS

Are these imported cars, because I bought a French vehicle last summer and received a new carte grise in less than a week, likewise the year before, but that was done by the dealer. I wonder if they check the "situation administrative" with the country of provenance before issuing. .I had a look around t'internet and did find this that may account for some of the delay:

Une fois votre demande de carte grise envoyée à l'ANTS , vous devez attendre pas moins de 52 jours ouvrés pour avoir une réponse de l'ANTS. Ensuite, il peut arriver qu'on vous informe que le certificat de conformité que vous avez fourni mentionne une conduite à gauche. Dans ce cas, vous devez faire soit une demande d'attestation d'identification nationale soit vous devez faire une RTI avec un passage à la DREAL. Avant le Brexit, le certificat de conformité avec une mention à gauche était accepté par l'ANTS.
