As per the title really?
Just pondering European trip.
There was talk towards the end of March of potential diesel shortages, but nothing much since.
In Uk we currently have some issues, but these are mostly caused by climate protests.
Just wondered what people in Europe are thinking?

There were some localised shortages during a blockade of depots in mid March, but the only shortages I've seen here in S Brittany were immediately following the 18c per litre reduction, as drivers had waited for that before filling up.
I came back from the UK on Saturday, and the diesel price in FR approx 1.80 euros is lower than the UK approx £1.76.

Down here in the Auvergne there's no shortage of fuel, nor has there been anything in the news suggesting that there may be?

What bearing does the population of an area have on being able to access national and regional news for information on fuel availability problems? Puzzled........

I support a charity called Munster Chernobyl Aid. They normally run aid convoys into Belarus but for obvious reasons we can't go there at the moment.
So we managed to fill three large vans from public donations with tinned foods, blankets, thousands of nappies, clothing, medical supplies, wheelchairs, crutches and many many other things.

I'm a 2nd driver for one of the vans and deal with any French stuff that needs sorting. I meet them as they come off the boat from Ireland.
About 5,000klm was clocked on this trip.
Three breakdowns! One was a wheel bearing let go in France.
I managed to get the work done at a local garage and he did it for free!
We carry parts for the vans so had a spare bearing.

Hungary was a bit testing mind.
We unloaded at a distribution warehouse about 10 miles from the Ukraine frontier,we then went up to the frontier to talk to Red Cross people about a next trip in September.
Then got our arses out of Hungary and arrived late evening into a hotel in Vienna! A bit of a treat for us.
