I'd also be interested to hear your thoughts on the Alfa; I've owned my M6GC for three years now and I can't think of any other car that can do what the BM can, but the Alfa is the only car that I've felt is in the same realm.
The M6 is fun but like someone else said here, unless you are doing silly speed, it doesnt show its capability. And its 'numb' compared to something like a Guilia QF. Heck, I think even the Stelvio was more fun to drive ...

If you havent tried a QF, you are missing out big time but yes, keen to hear from someone who has owned both.

Had some great trips in mine. If I had the room I’d have kept it.

It was an Individual matte brown of some sort.

I think it was the only one with that combo, certainly in the UK.

Sorry for the late reply. I actually had the Stelvio QF, really an epic car for what it is. Thoroughly recommend. Very fast, characterful handling, great exhaust note with valves open, comfortable, reasonably well equipped, not lavish but well put together. Fantastic do it all car.

little bump, had a good read through the pages here.

dont suppose any current owners (particularly of individual / high spec cars) are looking to sell their LCI Gran Coupe?

I'm sometimes tempted to sell mine (only because I've had it a few years), but I genuinely don't think there's anything out there that does everything the M6GC does, and I still love the car after this time.

(Mine's an LCI Competition model with most options ticked, San Mario Blue/White Interior with BMW warranty cloud9)

So I decided to give my car a bit of a scrub up after more than 6 years of ownership.

The wheels have had a refurb as they were getting rather milky and had suffered a few scrapes here and there over the years. First refurb since new.

The paintwork has had a two stage polish and ceramic coating and it has come up a treat. I think it looks even better than the day I collected it from new.

A thorough clean and polish of the glass plus some new centre caps for the wheels and the results look amazing.

Now I have to keep it looking like this. I will probably start trying to sort a few minor cosmetics issues here and there (corrosion on rear camera badge for example). Feels like it could be the start of an obsessive slippery slope if I’m not careful.

What a cracking looking machine cloud9

Must have the best side profile of most cars in past 15-20 years.
