Well, Martin Freeman nailed the Scouse accent, to my ears at least. And there was some good banter in the scene with Marco in the police car. But I suspect it's going to be one of those dramas where every single character is troubled, unpleasant, thick or all of the above.
Which means you end up not caring about what happens to any of them. Part 2 tomorrow, so I'll reserve judgement.

Which is why I switched off after 5 minutes.I struggle understanding the scouse accent at the best of times,to be fair I struggle with most accents.
I almost switched off during the titles as the background music was drowning out the radio messages.....to my ears anyway
