Quite an interesting (but very long!) interview with everyone's favourite 'marmite' dealer(s)...

If I was in a position to buy an exotic car these cowboys would be the last person I'd hand money over too!
Did anyone listen to his Podcast episode on The Road to Success?

He's been working on sales deals since he was 2 and buying / selling supercars from 9 apparently.

I had to turn it off.
Kim Il Sung complex.

Dodgier than a 9 bob note.

Somebody care to tell me why this guy is the undesirable type to do business with, what have i missed?
I don't have an axe to grind specifically, I just don't believe some of the stories and the egos are out of control in my opinion.

If they had a car for sale I wanted at a great price, I'd not hesitate to do business with them.

On the other end of the spectrum, my channel got monetised this week, safe to say it won’t be paying for itself for a long time hehe

I think you would need regular viewpoints in the 50-100k+ region to even scratch a minimum wage.
Congratulations! Becoming monetised is a massive achievement, and gaining 4,000 watch hours in a rolling 12 month period (or c.12 hours of content viewed every day for 365 days, without fail) is no easy feat! Always worth remembering that only around 8% of all channels hit this threshold, although some statistics suggest it's closer to 5%. Most people give up, because it's hard work.

I expect your monthly income will rise over the next month. I'd be surprised if you don't make £35-55/month this month with the views you have. smile

Someone else said not to forget to declare, but check out "trading allowance" on Google. You can earn up to £1,000 from a hobby in a tax year before you need to report it to HMRC or pay tax on the income.

Thanks! It certainly gave me something to focus on whilst I was out of work. Glad to have a job to pay for more car stuff now though hehe

That tax info is handy, wasn’t aware of that previously.

That new lambo on the Carwow video is, well, hard to describe.

I've got absolutely zero desire to own one (handy that) but half a million quid and over 2 tons by the time you've got a friend on board. And it has 3 (I think) motors that add another hundred and odd hp, why? That will be a horrendous ownership proposition unless you're able to sign blank cheques.

That tuned M3 Touring though, what a car. A sub 10s estate that you could in theory make look like any other 3 series.

Nobody's bothered to inquire, and frankly, nobody gives a toss if you've got absolutely no inclination towards acquiring the Revuelto. And if you've somehow managed to shelter yourself under a rock for the past 61 years, it might interest you to know that Lamborghini's V12's have always carried a bit of heft and aren't exactly known for being the the fastest supercar on the market.

I saw a Revuelto in the flesh for the first time the other day. I have to say, it did nothing for me. It looked smaller than expected in person, but that might be because it was surrounded by Urus(es?)

There were also a couple of Aventadors in the showroom and I personally think the first generation of those is a stunning piece of kit. I know it's a deeply flawed machine but I'd have one as a piece of motoring art

Lambos generally are a bit pants (the V12 cars) but then they aren't really meant for anything other than posing in. I drove an Aventador and was actually laughing out loud how truly horrific they are to drive!

Whilst I respect the engineering involved in getting 1000bhp out of an M3, it cost £35k for the the work including a fully built engine and mods to the gearbox, my worry would be how long is the rest of the drivetrain going to cope, no mention of diff or driveshaft work.

The Revuelto is slightly wider and longer than the Aventador. The flagship V12s always look big in pictures, but in real life, they're fairly small.

And in my opinion, the Revuelto looks better than the LP700, which it should because the LP700 came out in 2011.

10cm shorter than a Range Rover and 5cm wider doesn't sound small. smile

It has the hybrid part with the motors for one reason and one reason only - emissions. It means that on the WLTP tests (which are deeply flawed) this 1000hp thing will only put out minimal CO2. But by doing that, it means that it has a bhp number that gets all the Lambo fanboys in a lather.

I’m willing to bet the average Lambo driver is short of a few cm.

The LP700 has never been a looker; it was a rather watered-down, fussier follow-on to the clean, graphic Murcielago.

The Revuelto similarly lacks the purity of line of a great design. Where have all the hero designers gone?

The usual embargo lift means a glut of new Aston Vantage videos dropped this morning. Watched Catchpole's review, brilliant as ever.

Then tried the Autocar review as I relaly rate Matt Prior, but holy crap the audio is absolutely dreadful just like it has been on previous vids.

Like, how it got uploaded like that is beyond me as it's clearly a processing issue as the audio is totally blown out and fuzzy in all situations, not just from one mic. They've really got to get that sorted out as it's just such an amateur mistake.

And no, I won't be watching Mr JWW regurgitate a thesaurus while being paid by Aston Martin to nosh them off.

Is anything I said untrue? He talks like he's being paid by the word, and has a commerical agreement with Aston Martin. Nothing untrue there.
