Yeah, sure. All that vapourware online payment handling. And millions of vapourware electric cars. And vapourware commercial spaceflight. You know the general idea is that you should bend your ideas to fit reality, not the other way round, right? You need to pull up the tinfoil hat a bit, it seems to be acting more like blinkers.
Oh right...of course, silly me.

Hyperloop.
The boring company.
Subterranean superhighways.
Tesla semi truck

PayPal was not his company...wasn't he fired from the board eventually?
Spaceflight...just a continuation of Nasa's work at the end of the day. Vertical landing Is notoriously difficult (which is why it hasn't been used much) and nothing new.
And now...Twitter, lol.

Musk...vapourware salesman. Nothing more, nothing less.
Actually, it probably wasn't fare to compare Theranos to Musk...she has nothing on him really.
How about you test your confidence and step out in front of the next Tesla you see passing, then come back and tell us about how imaginary it is?
Loving my vapourware Starlink connection though....

Personally I'm not really bothered what happens to Twitter - I am however bothered that Musk is pissing around with it when he should be concentrating on his engineering & manufacturing companies.

There is a dramatised series called "The Dropout" about Elizabeth Holmes, and it's really very good.
The series was excellent. The actor got her voice absolutely perfect
Indeed, Amanda Seyfried is brilliant in it.

How about he goes and gets stuck in a cave and waits for Musk to send in a rescue sub?

That's a bit unfair on Mr Musk. His cars and rockets do kinda work, they aren't faked.
Yup. Clearly a bit of a ringpiece, but paypal, tesla, spaceX...

I agree. It is fantastic. It’s on Disney TV and I scored it a 10/10 on IMDB. It really is a brilliant series.

I could live with that.

Musk didn’t come up with PayPal.

Uhuh. And? It was the vapourware I was disagreeing with, not the salesman part. In case I failed to make that clear by my repeated use of the word "vapourware" in my reply. And the singular absence of the word "salesman".

I really wouldn't do this, their automatic emergency braking works about as reliably as the 'full self driving'.

Will this series ever make it to more mainstream TV? The fact that TV is so fragmented between so many pay to view platforms is very annoying.

Disney+ is £7.99 a month cancel anytime. if you really want to watch the show that doesn't seem unreasonable for 8 hours of entertainment, and you also get access to other great stuff like Dopesick.

That's all we do with everything other than Amazon Prime (Netfix, Disney+, Apple TV, Now TV), subscribe for a month when there are a few things wrth watching and then leave it cancelled the rest of the time. Works out a hell of a lot cheaper than a Sky subscription and a far wider range of content available.

The TV series is based on the excellent 15 or so part podcast.

I preferred the podcast, it had the luxury of being slower burn and more detailed.

There was also a Hollywood movie being planned. Any news on that?

Here two. Cancelled Netflix when they increased the charges. Would go back to watch something particular then cancel again.

Did you hear her lawyers arguing how it was nice and innocent - booked in error and admin mess up not cancelling as they all believed she would be ‘let off’ ?

Despite being a one way ticket etc etc…..

Judge gave them the benefit of the doubt smile

Give me strength!!
