Personally, I would go back to year 7. And act happier. Then I would've got more friends and probably been a much better all round person.

Rather than the overly anxious stereotypical overly emotional teen I am now....

(Just thought i'd plop that in...)

Wouldn't have bought my flat 4 years ago. Cost me so much, both emotionally and financially.

I'd have joined that band instead of laughing about it...where did it all go wrong Mr Lowe?
....and I'd have carried on driving away from the South of France leaving the miserable bh there instead of going back to fetch her and then FFS marrying her...repent at leisure.

I'd have kissed a girl I had an oppoprtunity to kiss and didn't, and would quite possibly have become much less of a misognist than following the subsequent and unavoidable route I took led me to become.

But what can ya do?

I'd have not bothered chatting up ugly fat women and spending too much time with them as it was a case at the time of "can't think of anything better to do". The few serious relationships I've had the gf's have always had a bit of an issue with that one. Must stop being honest about it!

I'd also like to go back and try and fit in with the crowd more. Something of a billy no mates at the moment as a result!

I'd like to go back and work harder at my A Levels and Degree - unlikely to achieve this as I'm such a lazy fecker!. Also go back and stand up to the school bully and kick his arse around the playground (he was smaller than me).

Oh yes, and I'd have not bought that Civic Coupe I had. It was a perfectly nice car just slow compared to the 2.0 Accord I had before.

I would have turned down an offer I was made a few years ago. That poor decision still lives with me do this day. My actions have ruined the relationship that I had with family and close friends and turned me into someone that I swore I would never become. mad

I did have fun but it cost me dearly.

edit: and turn up to my a level exams. frown

If you could go back to any part of your life and start over again. You don't remember everything you've just lost, but you just sense to do things differently, like applying for that job, or buying that car that 'would never be a classic'

So what would you guys do if you could go back?
Would go back about 10-12 years and buy a house when prices weren't silly. At that time I was scared of the prospect of owning a house. Then I met the OH who already owned a house, so I moved in with her. Now, having just been dumped after 8.5 years, I'm scared by the prospect of never being able to afford a house. Epic fail on my part.

yes My life isn't perfect but it isn't bad. Changing one thing in the past could have huge repercussions through my life so I'll stay as is.

UCCA Application Form - LLB, then an MBA, 20 years with the Carlyle Group playing tennis and snorting the marching powder, then into Parliament with the slickest haircut in a generation for more sado masochistic st invloving oranges and arms to Honduras than has yet been seen.

Basically, you need to be one of the 'players' in a mask who understand the meaning of "Fidelio."
