Cayman Engine Failures
Discussion
Sport/Sport + doesn't mess with the engine map. It removes the soft limiter (500rpm before the hard limiter), sharpens the throttle pedal (less pedal travel for more throttle, the amount of throttle you can apply doesn't change), it opens the valves in your exhaust if you have PSE* and has a slightly less intrusive PSM (if you leave it switched on). It also messes with PDK if you have it. So if you have a manual car it gives you the perception of more performance and a peakier power delivery, it doesn't actually change the performance of the car. With PDK it actually speeds up changes apparently.
*If you have a Carnewal GT exhaust (pretty much a PSE always open), the car pops and gurgles all the time
