Macan S questions

We currently have a Toyota Land Cruiser, and a Mini Countryman. I was (possibly still am) set on the new LC when it is eventually released, but we are also considering going down to one car, and the Macan S seems an excellent compromise on size, comfort, performance, cost, well, everything.
We do very few miles these days, so MPG not really a problem, but we do live rurally, so one concern I have is whether the Macan has any genuine off-road (or at least rough road) ability, or is it purely an urban SUV? We don't do deliberate 'OLLI' type off-roading, but regularly move stuff around fields, etc. I noticed Porsche offer a 19" winter tyre option as an add-on, is it possible to spec that as the primary wheel package?
Are they generally reliable? I'm not expecting Toyota reliability from anything German, but as long as we aren't talking Land Rover reliability, then I think we can live with that.
Size wise I'm guessing somewhere between the two cars we have, which to be honest is fine. I assume they make good long distance cruisers too - how is the rear seat comfort and leg room? The kids are a little spoiled with the Land Cruiser size. Can you fit real adults in the back?
Do Porsche do extended test drives, or is it a couple of times around the block? Ideally I'd like to take it home and try it out on our local lanes, but we are about an hour away from our local Porsche dealer. Do you think that would be likely?

Had mine from new - its had the transfer box replaced (common issue) and a speed sensor failed (generic Bosch part, not a reflection on the Macan). Otherwise no issues.
I had an hour or so test drive which was all I wanted, but could have had longer. See if your OPC has Macan courtesy cars - you may be able to borrow one of those for an extended drive. They can get booked up by service customers months in advance, but worth asking.

No its not.20" now standard on Macan S, 21" is only option.
You'd have to buy a set of 19" rims yourself.
Macan is OK for rough road use, especially with the height adjustable air-suspension option.
If you are serious, you need to get an order in pdq to get a build slot before they are all taken before production ends.
