my rs was offered as a clubsport. but the gearbox transmission type was G50-31 not G50-32. As flywheel, cage and spoilers can be changed this appears to be a good acid test

Hi Mark.got your email,i only know of a couple of not so good cars. All the good cars have sold for heavy money.
Comfort came from the germans, they call the Basic version the comfort spec with all the trimmings, even sunrooof and rear wipe.
Factory word is M002 basic version and M003 clubsport version.

I will be looking for you in craner with my little spoiler PaulR!looking forward to friday.
I have some spare wheels if you get stuck paul, just let me know if you need them.

Paul, how are you and the yellow tin can CS,are you going on friday to dony also.

The clubsport rear spoiler makes little effect over the basic version, may be at thruxton through the fast corners on full rake, you may notice it.Big is not always better!!!

There is a factory 993 rsr, very limited production and only for racing, not street legal,Which was called a 993rsr cup version.

Paul, sorry can't make Donny on Friday....enjoyed brands last week though,,, should be better now I fixed the varioram

Thanks for clarifying the comfort thing, I thought it related to the "Komfort" packet for our German medical employees I beleive there were tax concessions available at the time to enable them to snap up the RS

Are we all getting together at Eynsham if not before?

Nice pics, Paul.....I have a similar shot of the Matter cup car cage sticker, instead of model 003 it says 911 RS Kafig-Nr 483....(too warm to keep wearing this anorak!)

Great interior shot, interesting gearlever,,,looks like the previous owner ordered it from an "ann summers" catalogue

A bit off topic i know, but have you also got pics of your RSR in wallpaper size i.e. 1280px wide
It looks like a very nice example.

Autofarm are asking £50K for a LHD 993RS with 50K miles. Is that a bit cheeky?

Corr, they do look nice. Do you quickly swap the wheels over yourself then when you want to change to track tyres/road tyres?

Yes, battery nut runner and low trolley jack required, no problem

Do not mean to turn page back-- But was the "comfort" not called RS Touring ,pretty much as described and virtually the interior was the same specs 993 GT2 street version. The RS CS - the caged version was produced in reasonable numbers (including RHD worldwide) .Many touring versions were converted as time went on-- and certainly some tourers were delivered at CS spec plus all the touring bits. The other point, some RS had cages changed and/or modified, particularly in the US.I own or have owned 993 Cup,RS touring,RS CS,RSR(the real one),and either have for sale or access to sell virtually all these models at the moment in both RHD and LHD.

Paul, what car are you talking about? Do you have a "road" 993 RS? If so, what model and spec is it?
