Was wondering if anyone knew how to increase the brightness of the Murci's dashboard, i.e. speedo etc, I find when I turn the cars lights on I can hardly see the instrument panel.

Cheers

The button on the left. Each time you press, the brightness increases to it's max, then one more push goes back to it's darkness. Then start again!

I had a feeling it may have been that button, and hoping it wasn't. neither of those buttons work, something else to add to ever growing fix list.

They seem to be jammed, they don't move at all.

Thanks for the reply.

Spray some contact cleaner. Might just be jammed up with dash cleaning products and dust.

The buttons tend to get stuck as they slide in a channel and can come out of adjustment over time. They actually push on another small button on a PCB underneath the 2 buttons. The cluster probably needs to be removed and the button/PCB re-aligned.

Thanks Dave, is that a quick job? I bet it's not!

It's not too bad, a bit awkward to get up to the mounting points that hold it on though.

Ok, I'll probably get you to do it when I bring it in to get that dodgy front diff problem sorted. Cheers.
