Its a kick in the nether regions time on the Aventador smile

My go to would be Emblem in dorset but i’d like a couple of other options if possible..

Anyone had one done recently with success and where? Cost? I know it’ll exceed 10k but hoping by not too much, maybe there’s an upgrade or aftermarket option that’ll ease things either cost end or durability end? before the next one is due..

There was a time where i’d have seen it as crazy, you can get a decent car for that amount etc etc

Even though 10k is easy to come by for me, i havent lost sight of its value and what you can do with it and its still a judged spend, does my / our life gain value from spending this amount?

Categorically yes! The amount of memories we've made in each of our cars this year has been incredible, laughs all the way and masses of memories to look back on later when we're too old to make them.

Everything we spend our money on gets evaluated this way, one of our vehicles no longer gets used and probably never will and it grinds me that it wont sell, its not a money, its just not useful in out lives…

But i digress smile

Its gotten to 50% over 10 years / 16k miles, my use is mainly sport mode though, rarely use corsa which is the more abrupt / less slip mode, so could have gotten more life from it, sport gives best driving experience for us though which is more important to me.

I don't know where you are based, but would recommend contacting Autofficina to see what they can do for you. smile
Cool, did that yesterday funnily, yet to hear back, good to know their a known, do you have experience with them?

Clutch itself is being priced at £4.5, though this was during a time of car parts price hike, not sure whats happened to parts prices lately apart from a new instrument cluster that was needed at £4.5k which didnt seem cheap hehe for the warranty company.. looking at R8 clocks etc, about double the price.

I used Autofficina and Emblem , Found both friendly and helpful with Emblem being on my doorstep,

In fact used Emblem back when John Woodfield owned it at Blandford.

Did have a emergency when in Surrey one Friday afternoon which is never a good time for any workshop

Although Autofficina were fully booked and busy trying to get customers cars out for the weekend with one man down

they battled through the Friday traffic and sorted my problem out ,enough to get the car to their workshop.

The owners Elias Elia and Peter Ward are old school and still in the real world and have been around Italian stuff for years.
