Discussion
Hi Everyone,
I know its been awhile since I have posted on here but I saw the new layout on here and loving the V8 section. Here is a pic of my Urraco 250 S which I have now owned for 7 and a half years

Does anyone know about the Urraco owned by Peter Sellers son Michael. I remember being at Pullicinos in the 90s and he turned up in a red Urraco, think it was a P300.
P300 20262 LHD. I haven't seen it for a few years but it is currently taxed.Edited by P300V8 on Saturday 18th January 18:57

A few pics of the red Lamborghini Silhouette at the Goodwood race circuit organised by Mike Pullen in the 1980s.
This is 40014 rosso/nero the Barcelona 1977 show car now in Switzerland. Note the lack of sun vizors, presumably considered unnecessary with the tinted windscreen band. Here is an amusing clip - though a little slow for the action to start... This is probably 40058 the car that later became the bronze Jalpa prototype.

I'm fairly sure that's me, given that there are only two roadworthy Silhouettes in the UK and it's not the other one (mirrors, sidelights, interior all look like mine not his!). However, I can't remember parking it anywhere that looks like that - maybe St Johns Wood High Street? Here is a better picture, with Mel Nichols (former editor of 'Car' magazine) in the passenger seat.

Now that's quite an add for the car. I've no idea what is being said but it looks great.http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedd...

The Jalpa. Man . . . I was mad about that car when it came out. Rare as hens teeth.
It was reliable and fun, plus on sunny days with the roof off it sound the business.Someone I knew did foot to the floor flat out! On a road just like the north bound M23 where it goes from two to three lanes with the speedo showing 150!...think it must have been abroad someone place. D

I reckon that's Duke Street, just off Oxford Street. Convenient for Selfridges although you'd be hard pressed to get much shopping in the Silhouette. I know my shops...And to keep to the theme of the thread here's some pics of one of my V8s:
Photos originally taken and posted by Chris Y on http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=127... - I take no credit for them or the parking (it was the Mrs on her first go at

I only took one photo of this red Lamborghini Urraco at the Lamborghini test day at Goodwood which was a real shame considering the very unique non Lamborghini related numberplate. Will keep an eye out for more memorable plates!
This is Andy Owler's P300 20188. He still has it. It features in Lamsden's Urraco book.Edited by P300V8 on Tuesday 25th February 02:01
