You could also use something like this and turn it into a clingy thing...

Like you I don't like stickers on the glass, however it is a requirement to display it on the bottom corner of the windscreen drivers (UK) side.
Oh mines the wrong side!

Mine is not only on the wrong side, it's too high! I put it in the top left corner next to my ACO membership sticker.

Have put mine on the top-left (UK) for many years without issue but I put my Germany one bottom-right a few weeks ago.

Just to summarise for 2024... If you have an older car (1993 968 for me) then it's a detour via Yvetot?

Yes. I used the same ex-pat page last year when making a decision. I have a '90 911 I'll be driving down again this year. No sticker as out of year range. Last year went through Rouen city centre (by accident) and no hassle from anyone - even the Gendarme drove past and didn't stop. I'll look at route options again but likely to drive through Rouen again and take the chance with a cash fine.

Anyone driving down Mon to Thurs and going through Rouen, I'd be interested in any feedback - i.e. foreign cars being pulled over, check points, newly installed overhead Crit'Air cameras etc. Please post back anything good to know. smile Will make any last minute route adjustments if needs be..

All are, have been, or will be cross-channel tools BTW

Spared the Exeo estate as doubt she’ll make the journey again; ‘though never say never!
