They should send you Toyota's bank details and then you transfer the sum over through your bank. With your reference number.

All seems a bit delboy for the biggest car company in the world. I rang them up later in the afternoon as I had no confirmation or anything come through either.

Collected my Sapphire Blue GR86 Wednesay. 2 days of paint correction (actually almost none as paint was mint as I collected my car with all the wraps on) ceramic seal with Gtechniq CSL, the EXOv5, as well as glass, wheels wtc. Anyway, all done so now to run in from the 7 delivery miles!

Pic is pre paint prep!

I've bought a wireless Apple CarPlay thing on Amazon to ditch the cable. I haven't really spent much time with the car yet though and have assumed two things:

1. The CarPlay isn't already wireless.
2. The correct USB port to use is one of the ones in the centre armrest by the cupholders.

Is that correct?paperbag

Thank you! If it works I'll post the link of the one I bought as there was loads of choice, some with better reviews than others.

The final series of "when prompted you can deal with it via prompts on your online account" have ended up being dealt with via straightforward calls and emails. No great hardship, but it's as if they know the system doesn't work but they've not got round to fixing the various boilerplate emails that don't tell you what you actually need to do...

Anyway, Monday. Still excited.

Another one here, white no spoiler, picked up this afternoon.

A similar journey to most, I think. The website not up to much, all progress made by phone really. Went to the dealership once for a poke about and test drive, then again to pick her up. Only a brief time on the open road so far. Can't say I have noticed any drive train issues. Mostly she seems very like the GT86, right down to the notchy 1st gear, but that is what I wanted. Shame about the plastic door handles, the chrome was a nice touch.

First wash and wax. Full correction and ceramic will come when I get a long weekend off.

Keeping it under 4k revs for the first 1k miles is the hardest thing ever. Only done 130 miles since picking it up so need to do some more pointless journeys!

That looks awesome in the red, is it sitting alongside your GT4 or has that gone to fund it?

GT-Four is being stripped back to shell and rebuilt over winter. Not going anywhere smile

A sniff under £3k for their insurance; someone there is on one, the Amīr al-Baḥr will do his 'gold' policy for £480!

Some suggestion that UK cars aren’t fitted with an alarm. Bit concerning if true as obviously could have implications with regard insurance.

Me!

My car is in the UK now, due at the dealership at the end of the month. Just waiting for a collection date.

The order books are closed now, so you could be right. I'll get mine just in time for 5 months of awful winter weather!
