Alpine A110 used prices

I was interested in how A110 used prices look like at the moment so I did a little bit of analysis of A110s on sale at the German mobile.de site as of 12 January 2022. Here is what I found.
Assumptions/data:
- Analysis includes only models Premiere Edition/Pure/Legende ie. I've excluded all the other model variants from the analysis.
- Prices on the analysis are in EUROs and mileage in Kilometres.
- For price comparisons I've compared the current asking prices on mobile.de to a price of the same model variant as new at the time of the first registration of the car. The price of new Pure/Legende variants have increased almost 5.000 EUR during three and half years (Pure from 54,200 EUR to 58,850 EUR). I have German price lists from different time periods which enables me to compare the prices more accurately.
- For price comparisons I've used the price as new WITHOUT options ie. the base price. I'm well aware that this distorts the comparisons but this was the only practical way of doing this comparison.
- The number of cars on the analysis is 36 but nine out of those were new unregistered cars so I've taken these out of price and mileage analyses.
- The number of cars first registered in 2018 was 4, for 2019 it was 11, for 2020 5, for 2021 4.
Results:
Prices:
- Average asking price of the used cars = 64,055 EUR
- Average price increase = 5,842 EUR. (It really means that the asking price of used A110 was 5,842 EUR higher than price of the similar car without options as new.)
- Average price increase of Premiere Edition was 10,319 EUR. The price of new PE was 58,000 EUR and now the average asking price of a used PE was 68,319 EUR. The sample size of PEs was seven so not that many on sale but still a big increase in price.
Mileage:
- Average mileage on the used cars = 10,959 KM
- Average mileage per year on the used cars = 5,049 KM
Even though I've done the analysis based on German data I'm well aware that this is an UK based forum and feel free to discuss used prices of A110 in UK in this topic.

Some additional info on the cars on sale at mobile.de:
- Lowest asking price was 49,900 EUR for a car with the highest mileage (69,000 KM). This was the first time I saw used A110 below 50,000 EUR.
- The cheapest PE was 59,990 EUR so even the cheapest one was more expensive than PE as new without options (58,000 EUR). This cars mileage was only 2,200 KM.
- The most expensive PE was 81,040 EUR. Mileage on that one was 26,000 KM and first registration 03/2018.

I dug a little deeper on the options of each car on sale on mobile.de to get more accurate view of the price changes (new vs. used). I went through the sales ads of each car and tried to pick up the information on which of the most expensive options (wheels/sports exhaust/big brakes/parking sensors and camera/audio/carbon roof) each car has. I updated the analysis based on that updated price info which takes into account estimated cost of options on each car.
Here are the updated results:
- Average price increase = 2,732 EUR ie. even when the options are taken into account the asking prices of the used cars are still higher than the prices as new.
- Average estimated options price (excluding PE version which I believe had everything as standard) = 4,044 EUR
Options:
Popularity of wheel types (percentage of all cars)
- Fuchs 39 %
- Serac 39 %
- Legende 19 %
- 17" 3 % (= 1 car)
- Only one car didn't have any type of parking sensors or camera.
- Sports exhaust was mentioned on 67 % cars.
- Portion of big brakes is a bit difficult to estimate since this info might be missing from several sales ads but at least 50 % of the cars had big brake option.
- One car had the carbon roof.
Here are the updated results:

Thanks for taking the time to compile this information, it's really interesting. I've been keeping an eye on the A110 market for a while, trying to decide whether to go for a new car or a used one - once I've cleared a spot in the garage. 
It's still a bit of a miracle to me why the used prices are higher than for a new one, when you can just walk into a dealer and ordered one - for delivery in 4 months time. A110's are great, but it's not like buying a hypercar from Ferrrari/Porsche/Lambo etc where you need to have a history of buying cars before they will even consider you.
A tool I find useful for discovering car ads is "theparking.eu".
It's still a bit of a miracle to me why the used prices are higher than for a new one, when you can just walk into a dealer and ordered one - for delivery in 4 months time. I've also been following A110 market and trying to decide between a used or a new car. It is indeed strange how well these cars seem to hold their value. It's still a bit of a miracle to me why the used prices are higher than for a new one, when you can just walk into a dealer and ordered one...
I ended up ordering a new one. One deciding factor for me in addition to very high prices of used cars was the fact that new cars have quite low Co2 value based on WLTP whereas almost all used cars have either Co2 values based on older NEDC cycle or for the most recent ones a little bit higher WLTP values than new ones. Buying a slightly used one with higher Co2 value might of meant several thousand euros higher registration taxes when importing it to my home country Finland. So in the end buying a new one made much more sense to me. It might make a lot of sense to others too in this current market.
Has somebody been following the UK market also? Are the used prices similarly high in there as in for example Germany?

Residuals are strong and many folk have had the same conundrum between new and used. The market has softened a bit over winter in line with seasonal demand but I imagine it will pick up into spring. The new models and price increases are likley to help used prices. All IMO only and nothing more.I ended up ordering a new one.
