Well thanks to Ben from Amd for arranging a group buy (terrible timing with the bodywork insurance tax & tyres to buy yikes) I've ordered some kw v1 coilovers they are expensive (even with the group buy) but I've been reliably informed they are the best package for a road car the wheel refurb & fuel pump will have to go on the back burner for a while though!

Lovely car fella, looking at an RS to replace my GTA which is now up for sale and reading your threads has most likely been the deal clincher for me smile

Just something though, I tried to register on RSownersclub but they don't alloy certain email address, do you have an email address that I can email to so I can get on and posting?
Thanks for your comments smile
Tbh I don't bother with the rsoc as it had become far to biased & political on there I now use http://www.focusrsec.co.uk/content.php its a fairly new & small forum but its got a good bunch on there.

Once you find a car get its build no & look here http://www.focusrsbuildlist.co.uk/ its full of good info on the majority of mk1 Rs focus have fun thumbup

Finally got my kw coilovers fitted yesterday bit forgot to take any pics rolleyes
I was a bit concerned about affecting the cars stock ride as it is very good but wow!! The car feels the bumps a bit more but not to the point it is uncomfortable & it handles so much better, haven't driven it far but already very impressed smile

Nice, what variants did you fit?
Ive gone for v1's as I didn't need the extra adjustability the v3's provide

My new favourite pic of the car

The coil overs are set to stock height currently but I'm going to adjust it to be slightly lower
