Went to Ushaw Car Show today (as a spectator) and the parking area was somewhat, er, overgrown.

You're a brave man going to Ushaw in that, as I know what the parking is like ! I wouldn't take my car as its too low for the rough pot holed 'road' and the long grassy areas in the visitors parking areas. I didn't get there today, but hope you enjoyed it . I think its a great venue and attracts a whole mix of cars and bikes.

Lovely car you have there too.

Lovely car in the best colour. Envious me? No siree Bob not me...

OK, just a bit. I've been trying to get into one of these on track for years and failed miserably. Tried a supercar day only to find the Gallardo fully booked out (after an organisational screw up) and had to swap over to a manual 911 turbo - which was frankly awesome.

Adding to my disappointment we (instructor) found the Gallardo trundling around at 30mph in front. Even crawling until we were nearly a lap behind we were still subsequently baulked by the very car I desperately wanted to drive.

Very brave taking it into that long grass. I've been directed across similar only to have the car crash to a halt against a hidden raised metal access cover. Mangled the four point chassis brace. I was well pleased...
