So there I was, just taking the roof down when the strut came away from the roof mount, any ideas how to glue it back again?

Which end of the strut is loose? If it came off at the lower end it should be a case of putting back on the nut that goes on the captive bolt. Top may be the same but haven't checked that.

Good time to evostick the rubber finishers back too - they seem to come loose.

IIRC under the rubber bung is a bolt, like the bottom end. However, you'll forgive if I don't pull mine off to prove it!

Checked last night - On the roof the bolt that holds the strut is bonded in to the glass fibre of the roof...or at least it was. whats the recommendation for the stringest glue?

If it was mine I'd use Araldite. However, I'd wonder why it got forced out in the first place - misaligned roof?

Probably me trying to fit the roof in a hurry in a heavy shower a few weeks ago started it to fail
