anyone know how to stop it auto changing to the new one?
Yes. Using registry editor (you may have to run it as administrator) navigate to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\PreferencesOnce there, create a new 32-bit DWORD value called UseNewOutlook and set its value to 0 (Hex)
