Been having some real issues since Season 2 came out, lag and general jerky game play with the screen jumping and me suddenly finding myself in a different location. Also shooting directly into people and the hits not registering, I gave up on it last night, may try again over the weekend.

I've had jerky game play a few times this last week, it's like it skips a frame or two.

It's not my connection, latency and package loss is nil. Not played since this update, will have a look over the weekend.

Fifteen year old maps. Apart from the maps added in updates, the standard multiplayer maps are entirely taken from Modern Warfare 2 (2009).

Well at least there is the Zombie game that is nothing like any other DMZ, I mean, game, that I have ever played........

This is seriously lazy stuff is it not? And yet still £50 is the PS Store?

Yes. I bought the game but the theory it was intended as an expansion for last year's MWII is hard to ignore. The franchise has been in its malaise era for a long time and I'm not totally sure how to fix that. The experimental period in the 2010s with Advanced Warfare, Black Ops 4, and Infinite Warfare wasn't great either.

I think the most recent game in the franchise I thought was good overall was Black Ops: Cold War.

I definitely had this with that new small map house one....I was spawning for a fraction of a second about 2m above ground.

I've always maintained that if I get into a really low ping match (like 15ms) then no matter how well I play, I get hammered as the netcode seems to penalise players with a low ping and you wouldnt think you'd get poor hit detection but I definitely do, and shots tat should land don't.

The juddering thing has gone for me, and it looks like you can turn off crossplay and still create a party with users on the same platform.

One thing that has always triggered me is having to play against groups of people. It’s a clear advantage over the single player. Plus, now if you find yourself on a good team the lobby resets. I hate modern online gaming.

Seems to have gone for me now, don’t know if it was coincidence but it seemed to come with the free trial weekend and left when it finished

Doesn't seem a bad update, new maps are decent and adding ones like Farm18 is good.

Oddly I constantly get put in lobbies of French users, have to mute the lot.

I mute everyone after getting a torrent of abuse on one of my first goes. I’ve just passed level 300 now and still have no interest turning it back on.

I was in a multiplayer game last night on Rust, Domination. 2 players on the other team with same clan tag, both had over 100 kills and sub 10 deaths. It was Vtol jet aftet vtol jet.

Fair play for staying the course. Loads of people would have quit after 1 VTOL. I'm not a fan of Rust these days; between the open lines of sight and dodgy spawns it can make Shipment feel calm and controllable.

I'm into the closing stages of the Intersteller grind. 29 Priceless camos down, 7 to go. Handily the release of the new sub and AR in Season 2, which I've already got up to Priceless, means that of the remaining guns I've got Forged, i can skip the two least appealing. At the moment the WSP pistol with '25 kills on people affected by your tactical while using akimbo' is a strong contender for skipping, as is the '5 kills 10 times' for the Pulemyot LMG. Really not a fan of the LMGs, which is a shame as I think I'll have to get at least 5 of them Priceless out of my remaining 7 needed.

Yeah, I stayed in just to see exactly what they ended up on.

That would be about 9-10 hours for me.

I bought one of these but have never downloaded it as it's over 200 sodding gb and has multi gb updates on a constant basis. I'd have to decide I wanted to play it about 2-3 days in advance.

Dunno how gaming ended up so unwieldy.
If your internet is that bad, COD isnt gonna be a good choice for you.

After a good couple of months, I given up on the camo challenges. I just don't have the time or patience. I'm trying to get all the mastery calling cards but the ACS hacking challenge is taking time too.

The interstellar grind was much easier in this game than MW, MW2 and Vanguard ones. Pleased I got it out of the way last month as my PS5 has developed yet another fault and won't send a signal to the TV. I have a PS3 which still spins up just fine but the PS5 seems to be made of cheese in comparison.
