All that jazz said: Wow guys, thanks a lot for your kind offers, much appreciated! But my main priority is getting us a stable and lag-free platform first . The servers do come with a group pay facility on them anyway so I'll post the link once I've found a server that's actually worth paying for and then those of you that feel like chipping in towards the costs can do. OK guys, so we're nearly a month in now on the new server from Jestservers and I don't know about you guys but other than it running out of steam whenever Mike activates his 1000 entity wheat farm it's run flawlessly for me. I've not seen anyone else complain so I shall assume everyone is happy with its performance. Here is the log in details for the group pay if anyone would still like to contribute (due for renewal on 1 May) : 1. http://jestservers.com/panel/2. Go to 'client login' on right hand side. 3. Email : ph_mc@yahoo.co.uk 4. Password : pistonheads 5. Ignore the account name when it logs in (I have changed the details to protect my identity and personal details). 6. Click on 'add funds' below and then the rest should be self-explanatory. Minimum credit is $5 (by default) and the server costs $20/month which I think worked out to be about £14.30 iirc.

I can't seem to see the add funds section. I get a permissions error when I try some of the pages as well???

The 'add funds' button is tucked away under the login boxes on the right hand side. It shows under my personal details after you've logged in. You don't have permission to access any other part of the account as all that contains my personal details and card details etc. Anyway Rob, not seen you on my server for best part of 2 months, thought you'd migrated to the Tekkit one!

Ok, I'll take a look. I've been on Tekkit but it is a little quiet ATM so on this weeks night shift I'll be on.

All that jazz said: Anyone know what's happened to Mike? Not been on since Saturday afternoon which is rare, he's usually on every spare minute he has. Not responding to emails either. I've not been on a huge amount recently, between being ill and having to stay over at work.. Had a good sesh yesterday though, only to discover the huge underground auto wheat farm I'm building is sat in a chunk where slimes can spawn..... (Am AM making an assumption here tho - do slimes crush/destroy crops?) Would be an absolute t t if I have to start over....

(Am AM making an assumption here tho - do slimes crush/destroy crops?) Would be an absolute t t if I have to start over.... I think you're borked Mike. Wiki said: Like most other mobs, Slimes require two vertical non-opaque blocks (e.g., air, signs, torches) to spawn in, with an opaque block underneath. The space they spawn in must also be clear of solid obstructions and liquids. Big Slimes require a 3x3x3 space to spawn, small Slimes require a 3x3x2 space, and tiny Slimes require a 1x1x2 space (or 1x1x1 if the upper block is not opaque).[2] Slimes are equally likely to spawn at all sizes. Slimes are much more likely to spawn in a 3 high room.
Slimes spawn only 1/10th as often as other hostile mobs, so they can be hard to find. Slimes can spawn in any light level and lighting does not affect their spawn rate. However, lighting up the surrounding area does decrease the chances of non-slime mobs spawning and thus indirectly increases slime spawning rates.
Slimes have equal chances to spawn at any size. Looks like it'll need to be moved if you don't want slimes spawning as they'll trample your crops with their jumping. Chances are the space you've dug out is not all in a slime spawn chunk so might not need much work to move it across a bit. I'll be on this aft and early evening at least so can give you a hand to move it.

And I'll not be on tonight - staying over at work.... Will be on for some good sessions from Friday afternoon tho!

And thanks for the contribution Mike, much appreciated kind sir.
