Fantastic day, thank you to Specialist Cars of Malton for being so hospitable.

We managed to get the drone out for some aerial images, we've uploaded a few to the website and will be putting together a video in the next few days.

Ha same. Bottom of Whitwell hill. Was cruising down at 70 but due to the drop she went to just over 75 (indicated) so hopefully I'm just under the threshold.

Missed the F12 and 991. Where were they hiding?

Whilst I agree with the max power comment, we also need to remember it's to raise money for YAA. So as long as the chavs keep buying the butties let's all play nicely and ignore kev and Barry in their mothers corsa.

Ps) I don't have a super car. I drive an MPS. I got parked up in a good spot because I got my backside out of bed early.

So all my pics can be found on this link - http://samuelellis.co.uk/gallery3/index.php/Event_... , i have around 160-170ish so im not going to post them all in this thread, i will post this one for perhaos one of the bst uses of vinyl on a car roof i have ever seen

And obviously one of my XJ just because

Now tbh i really enjoyed it, got there early so parked up on a side street in my jjjjjaaaaagggggg, first long-ish run it has had and the atmosphere was a good one so a big thanks to specialist cars of Malton for setting it up and running it.

Now im a bit disheartened by some of the comments about "the max power brigade" on here, I did go over and have a word with the lad running the corsa and the lad running the focus with the big stereo systems and they were both decent lads and they were telling me how many problems they had encountered getting the cars to the point they were at, as some of you know i do play with big car stereo so i gave them a few pointed on what to do to make the cars louder/sound better and they seemed the sort of lads who would have been happy to turn it down if asked but i didnt see anyone actually ask them so they were just showing off something they had built themselves. I have to admit i like looking cat cars with the owners personal touches on it.

Another comment on here basically said that Chav and standard cars got in the way, its comments like that that make me think twice about attending events like this in either my standard XJ or my customised Ford Mondeo speakerbox as i get the impression i would be looked down on because something flasher could not get parked

I was there in my corolla t sport ( grey one in background of green focus pictures) got there bright and early and had a great time.

I agree there were a lot of hot hatches there, but that doesn't make us chavs or any less of an enthusiast then those with the lamborghinis and Aston martins, just poorer/younger versions of!

Although I do agree it's a shame to see ferraris and Nissan GTR's stuffed down a side road in a corner. They should maybe have a 'deluxe' section for the rarer more exotic metal smile. That would be my only suggestion, fantastic event otherwise!!!

Hoping this Skyline owner didn't come back to a flat battery after leaving his sidelights on for a couple of hours atleast (whoops!)

To clarify - when we are saying the 'max power brigade' it's more to to with the owner than the car - I appreciate a hot Clio or Astra as much as the super cars (in fact more so as they are actually obtainable!)

Some people just don't understand that there is a time and a place for things - the substantial Police presence required here is rather telling.

Good day out. The downside was the max power brigade with their loud stereos, tends to put others off. Would make sense if they parked elsewhere and walked to the show as some nice petrol head cars were being turned away.

Exactly. Its the chivvy attitude. One car had 'proppper moist' stickers on his windscreen.

A classic rs turbo, 205 GTI or modern hot hatch is very welcome smile
