Has anyone had any dealings with this mob as trying to buy a car off them is like trying to get blood out of a stone...

Not dealt with them myself but I've heard a lot about them and if what i've heard is to be believed they're to be well avoided!

looking at the stock, some look a little overpriced and only a 3 month warranty.

Why would you want to give a company money if they make it so difficult to do it? Can't understand that reasoning at all.

Thanks for the feedback guys -really helps as I am getting a taste of all the comments.

3 month warranty doesnt do them them a favour at all - for the calibre of cars they have, should be 6 month minimum

FunkyRobot - empathise with where you are coming from and totally agree that the buying experience is part of the transaction however when the product target specification matches 100% the search criteria, one tends to endeavour to make it happen.

Since posting, the process isn't with Shak but the seller (third party deal) or so I am led to believe. Still, it all needs a kick.

Will be revisiting in a few weeks

My A8 was a 3rd party deal, Shak had to get it there for me to veiw ect, But he did it, With most of his cars they still have the remainder of the new car warranty, mine has untill jan 2015, so im happy with that. The lads there do go out of there way to help as much as poss, good luck with your new car.

I always think that if they are difficult to deal with when you are trying to give them money how hard will it be to do anything if you have any issues once the purchase has taken place.

My thoughts now in this path. Despite trying to cut a deal and give them money, they just arent interested. And I thought Audi dealers were difficult to deal with/call me back. These guys clearly dont need the business...

To all the respondents on this thread getting good service - maybe I am dealing with the monkey and not the organ grinder. Can you give me the contact who you have dealt with.

You really shouldn't have to try and give someone money! But understand what you are saying about the right car.

Yes - I saw that too some weeks ago in my research. It's been (another) 4 days (total about 1 month now) and still waiting on them to call me back with a price on the car I am interested in. Starting to wonder if it's theirs to sell...
