Yes - regardless of the (wholly unjustified) hype - below 7c winters WILL NOT PROTECT your car from collision damage with other road users!!!On another note it might get a bit white here in High Peak, and then again it might not.
A friend is an RAC callout chap with one of the last RAC 4x4 winter-tyred vans. He tells of a winter 4 years ago when he had to rescue some numpties from just off the Cat road who had broken down. They had travelled 400 miles from the south of the country just to have some fun hooning around in snow... . The mind it truly boggleth.

To be honest, fair play to them. They drove 400 miles to get to some decent roads for some hooning fun. They didn't crash, they just broke down. Shows true PH spirit though Gassing Station | Yorkshire | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
