Any suggestions please, the OH works not far from the football ground and the area would need to have good schools etc.

Thanks

Depends how far you can cope with for the commute?

Basically whatever the maximum that distance is then you want to live that far away.

This is why we are moving, it's currently a 45 minute drive on a good day from where we live at the moment.

Ideally it would be no more than 15/20 minutes drive.

A nice part of Wickersley would do for me

But it depends on ££ available really

My workshop is also near the football ground
There are plenty of decent areas if you look around. Ravenfield is fine,as is Braithwell,Micklebring,Wickersley already mentioned.
The newer part if Maltby is fine too ime.
In the other direction friends of mine live on a new estate still under construction around upper Haugh.

The upper haugh is a stehole these days, been terrible for the past few years, a dozen drugs raids, 3-4 firebomb attacks, two shotgun driveby's on the flats in the middle..

Sheffield....smile

Remember, when I take over, we're invading France and exiling the French to Rotherham.

You've got my vote, so long as you're building a concrete wall around the place too

All depend on distance really, areas mentioned already plus Scholes if you have a bit of coin is lovely.

being so close to M18 and M1 gives you a lot of options for a slightly longer commute.

Our factory is in Rotherham at Meadowbank and my daily commute from a small village in North Derbyshire, South of worksop, East of Clowne and West of Mansfield is pretty pain free, about 20 miles of good A road and Motorway taking about 30mins. When the 50mph limit from Junction 30 is finally removed (if it ever is) the time etakenb will fall I am sure too!!

Wickersley is very nice, as is Whiston. Treeton isn't too bad either.

Your only problem with Wickersly and Whiston is you have to put up with me firing the buggy up next month with no exhaust on.

Apologies in advance to all you locals.
