How have you attached the beam break? I have a couple of spare towing eyes and Im looking to make a screw-in, if that will work.

Practice runs (x2) seem to start at c.9am.

Competitive runs either start before or after lunch so from 11.30 am onwards. Last month my first timed run was at 12.30pm.

Simon, can show you a pic but can't post here as on phone. Are you on the twitter?

I have my timing beam splitter on a piece of velco type stuff (a more powerful 3M product) with a strip on the edge of the front number plate. Really easy to put on and remove and no problems so far when in use.

I'm supposed to be racing in an enduro on Sunday but if I don't attend for any reason the. I'll bring the kids to Harewood.

Oh, and Lishmans of Ilkey is a great place to top up a picnic hamper.

I'm told I have to attend a local "family fun day" so I won't be able to make it yet again.

That sounds fun. That is if you consider having your fingernails pulled out as fun.

Don't forget the Game Fair is on at Harewood this weekend

http://www.gamefair.co.uk

Expect much more traffic around the event, could be a slow drag from Otley out to Harewood and inbound from York or Leeds.

It was awful yesterday from Otley... I should have gone into Leeds and back out again wink

Big thanks to Ed and Ben for allowing a car mad toddler to sit in their cars... shame about the rain.

If anybody from BARC reads this can I suggest the course marshal on the top straight be reminded that it really isn't too clever to smoke a fag while cars are running ? Even in the 70s smoking was verboten but now .. ? And yes- I am pretty sure it wasn't a vape but even if it had been it really doesn't look too clever.

No probs and was good to meet you and put a face to the name. Shame it clattered it down but it certainly mixed things up a bit.
