Recommended builders York?

Any suggestions?

Had a guy quote for various work most of which seems reasonable and he is a good reputable guy, however i'm looking to extend a 2.9m wide garage by about 8 foot at the rear in single brick which involves a fibreglass roof to meet existing and some drain alterations and the quotes not far shy of £5k which seems bloody steep!

So i'm looking for additional quotes from decent builders in York.

Is there any structural issue with the extension? needing things doing at the existing to stabilise?

I went in for some timber not long ago and had cm, mm, inches and feet on my list.
The guy cutting it suggested that he'd have given me a discount if I'd included fractions of a furlong for a near full set
