Ford focus st in black with black tintedrear windows and grey alloys in sheffield. Saw it pull over a dodgy looking golf!

Plain black Land Rover Discovery had pulled over somebody on M18 Westbound near junction 1. Sorry no more details as I was eastbound. I've always found the M18 near the M1 is heavily policed and "obey" thee limits near there.

Seen again this morning, and its an Astra, not an Audi. He was flashing the yellow Police sign all the way down the A64 Malton By-pass again. Seemed to be trying to slow cars down. I was begining to think it was some sad act pretending to be the Police. Then when following him 4 cars behind on the single carrigeway section after Malton he turned the blue lights on and pulled the car directly behind him over.

In Scarborough, they have a sneaky Vauxhall Corsa 62 plate.totally unmarked.

We have those as well in and around the Bingley area, IIRC they are burglary squad cars rather than out to catch speeding motorists.

Dark grey Volvo YJ10 ADO on Bondgate in Ponte earlier - poor sod was directing traffic after a family wagon had conked out and caused mayhem both ways.

Got a closer look a the YJ61 car when I spotted it in the traffic on Kirkstall Rd last weekend, full reg is YJ61OOH.


Ooh st is what you would say if it was behind you and the lights popped up! Its obvious that its a cop car if its in front of you though, lcd display on the rear shelf is the immediate giveaway.
