A great one and very well organised. Cheers Barry (and Nikos/Olber for messaging a dazed Lawsome the meeting point early doors).
I fancy retracing it over the summer with much earlier starts to avoid traffic.

The runs just get better with the more people you know. Even Kenny

Brilliant day, great turnout and great to see some new faces.
Cheers to Baz for organising and hopefully see you all on the next run!

Sure was! Certainly dispelled any notion that it was just a boulevard cruiser (perhaps that's the 'AMG' influence)

The other shock for me was the chap in the green MX-5 - followed him from around Kentallen to Glencoe and I (and a few others) were convinced there's no way the car was standard. Nicely pedalled.
thumbup

Must have been that rogue Eunos that appeared half way round, bit annoyed we all passed him and came back for revenge whistle

Was that you??!

I knew that 'OlberJ' had recently got an MX-5, and bloke in question "just got it two weeks ago", but never made the connection.

Good to nearly have met you! hehe

Aye, that was me. Didn't clock the 996T was yours till i came home and checked the list. Hullo thumbup

I only got one, "Olie don't kill me!" from the passenger seat all day. Sure there's a bit more to be had from the Mx5. I can see what the hype is about, the way they handle is very exploitable.

Also had a good wee run down at the end of the day with Lawsome in his Mk3. driving

Sounds and looks like a great day. Shame I missed it but had booked a studio way back for something and needed to get it done.
I do love all those roads that you guys were on, just they don't normally have such a concentrated collection of cars!

yes
She seemd very tolerant from the brief chat I had with her. You should hang on to her!

Mentioned this vid to some of the other guys - a nice example of how quick a well driven MX-5 can be.

When I asked if she was enjoying it the reply was 'Scary!' following by laughter!

I managed to get some excellent footage on my gopro's first outing smile

Very happy with results. Certain sections require zero editing - just amazing parts of the run wink

Excellent stuff recorded as well of the SL55. What a machine !

Great video JC. We had an equally clear run although no doubt a bit slower smile
Been a long time since I've been along that road - superb!
