steelej said: groak said: And of course, that's that jinxed. Deal now OFF, and that'll certainly be the last time in my lifetime I have any dealings with Graypaul. "We're not selling you the car if you don't take our (not as good a deal as you can get) finance" Oh really!! (that isn't even legal never mind acceptable business practice).
Was this Graypaul in Edinburgh? Why does it matter to them where you get the cash from? John. Because they're greedy stoopid fux (and I 100% except Gary B from that who was great at every stage). And, by the way, anyone who actually does agree to their financing terms without phoning my mate Luke (who I've never met) at Oracle needs their head examined. Tell you what, I'm still RAGING and I mean RAGING! I'm not a clipe to authorities sort of guy but that's well out of order. However, I'm actually wondering if this ass of a 'sales manager' (who, after all, has just done his firm out of the easiest £1/4m deal they've ever made) has maybe done me a favour. I'm now happy to share Enzo Ferrari Snr's opinion of what he called the 'cafe racers'. And I just wonder if I've been a bit of a cock myself for buying into their weak manifold, weak track rod end, iffy corrosion prone bodywork, etc etc for so long. Certainly driving the Mrs' Porsche back from Carlo's place having dropped off the Ferrari it was blindingly obvious to me (and not for the first time) which of us drives the better engineered machine. I could say a lot more about my 'local dealer experience'. But it's far far better to deal with it in a much more effective way. Goodbye dealer. And, I think, goodbye brand. When you're being asked 26 quid for a set of tyre valve dust caps, you really do know what the brand thinks of the users. And, funnily enough, that's what Old Enzo apparently thought too. If they really think their customers are bams, here's one bam whose cash they won't be seeing.

Third Thurs clashes with the current Edinlush evening. ...though that might be changing since it's suiting fewer of us these days. Does anyone ever do both? Not saying we shouldn't, purely that 3rd Thu of the month may be the best night for those that do go to such things.

If we keep the 3rd week then there is a degree of continuity for that week. I have no strong views, it was picked at random by Andrew and I to suit notice we were giving folk.
Thursday seems to be the preferred day. So lets just make it thursday. Agreed? All those who disagree, hit Andrew
Venue? Seems like the Most popular should be given a chance? We can all talk posh for a couple of hours to blend in!
What week? 3rd? 2nd?
Lets just tae a straw pole on this and i ( for any free coffee and cake) will come to an executive decision. Which if get wrong, you get to hit.... your getting this arent you?

Mikey, can you not sneak away on a Thursday night? Usually try to play tennis on a Thursday but not fixed in stone so will try to make it along some months.
