It would be nice – and far from impossible – restore it to original condition. GT6s deserve that.

There used to be one on Blackheath Hill in the late 70s. The standard was atrocious. Virtually no preparation, we used to laugh at the ones where they sprayed over bird st and rust.
£99 was just for the repaint, costs rose substantially If you wanted any bodywork done.

I did that to my Imp immediately after the MOT tester put his screwdriver through the sill. Took it to another test station and it passed with flying colours. Cherry red rattle can, gauze and isopon. I did eventually get a new set of sills welded on when funds allowed.

Swiss coachbuilder Graber did one IIRC.

Homebrew hacksaw job.

Graber understandably did a more refined job.

July 1961 car and taxed until 1.9.24. No MOT though.

On a trailer in a secure storage yard, so likely to be saved. Pretty rare animal, I’d have thought.
