How do people get away from work so early to get to the venue late afternoon? I assume they are persons of leasure?!

Yes the usual eclectic mix.

It always amazes me what some people consider to be vehicles worth showing. How about a scruffy silver 2008 Passat saloon with frilly wheel arches?

Someone even brought along a base spec. 2019 Fiesta and parked it with the show cars. That particular vehicle hadn’t even been built the last time I attended the meet!
Just to ask... is it only shiny stuff that can/should be in any 'show' section of this meet?

Is there separate parking for the average-car punters?

Looks like it has been delayed due to the rain recently!

Yes there is a separate parking area for regular cars, but it looks like the two cars I quoted above just ignored it and headed to the main field.
