Radir do a similar copy of the original Fenton Tri-Rib, and Russ Pepper at R&R were the UK importer for Radir wheels (don't know if he still is?)

Dan Boone has Radir's on his fabulous '32 roadster.

They look a little shinny for me unless it's the sun on them, maybe they are available with satin spoke finish, I've always bought my wheels from North Hants as they are near and and have been dealing with John for many years and he always looks after me , Problem with that is i maybe missing out on things with other suppliers,As i said you may not here from me for awhile as my lap top completely died las night. Don't laugh but i am in my local library posting this, need to go pc shopping this weekend,

Yes, the Radir are also available in satin finish, like the Rocket that North Hants do. The Rocket are also available in shiney finish as well.
Yes, there's a lot for sticking with who you've known for years, I do the same. The only issue becomes if you really want something that they can't provide then you have to look elsewhere.
If North Hants can't get you some ARE 200S (given they won't even quote, which seems odd) then if yoy really want them, you have to look elsewhere, or import yourself.
On the other hand if the Rocket tri-webs's that North Hants sell float your boat enough, then a trip to North Hants seems a no brainer.

Either the satin finish or shiney finish Tri-Rib's with a set of WWW will look great on your El Cam.
While not a Chevy, this '59 Ford Ranchero 'push-car' that I took a photo of at CHRR back in '07 looks great with a set of chrome Radir's and WWW cool

Well good news on the TA from a first real poke around,
All fabulous at the rear bulkhead, floors , boot floor and drop offs etc, rear screen surround is perfect,
Small amount of corrosion to the trunk gutter,
But minimal,
All good underneath, torque boxes are perfect
As are the rockers , and spring housings,
All the rest frames look great but have surface corrosion?
Zero rat holes!!!
Still got the front foot wells to check inside the car , but they look fine from underneath??
Looks like some rust to both upper cowl corners ?
But doesn’t look to terrible!

Haven’t been able to identify the rear axle codes
Obviously a 12 bolt posi but know idea of ratios?
Engine is matching numbers, so just the trans left ?
Which apparently is a nightmare to identify properly, Ali case , looks like a Muncie but they all do !
So a very very good start!

Looking good......what a great set of bones to build from smile

There's a very good chance that whatever build spec PHS turn up will still be as it is now.

Finally found the transmission codes etc,
And the magic vin number!
She’s as unmolested as I’d guess it’s possible to be !!
Everything is untouched, quiet remarkable,
As with everything though I’ve absolutely know idea whether my all matching numbers running gear is actually any good hehe

Axle code is usually stamped on the front of the axle tube on the passenger side, between the diff housing and the shock....usually.

Should start with a COX for a 3.55 Posi or COZ for 3.73 Posi for 1970.

Yes I got that information from the Hit Man’
But there’s a heavy shaling covering all along the axle tubes, obviously requiring mucho’ cleaning before I could see anything!
But now I’ve given the shell a proper going over I’ve got a pretty good idea what I’ve got to contend with,
Yes I’ve a lot of work to do, but it’s completely solid and will make into a fabulous car once done,

Hopefully I’ll get away with a refresh on the motor and trans, the axle has a small weep at the pinion end,
I’ll replace everything on the brakes , everything on the steering except the box , all the bearings , prop joints blah blah!
Raring to go but need to relax now and get my paperwork in order,
The best bit I can now just chill and start gathering parts,
And materials,

Surely, if you want to lower your car, and I want to raise mine, we should just give them to someone to swap the suspension bits over?

Do you have a picture of yours?

Mine is too low for my tastes, and the traction bars are idiotic on speed bumps.

My laddo has a set of the Radar Tri-Rib wheels on his '62 TBird
So.......when I post the image below of one of my favourite wheels (Bonspeed Huntington) I can realistically expect some 'hate' responses?

Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder. I prefer the stance of your car Harry. To me it looks absolutely spot on. Not a fan of the looking like it is up on stilts. No offence intended.
Looks like you really have found a proper gem NaT. Bloody good news smile

HaHa
cheers HC thumbup
And Rosco, love them rims!
its all personal after all, on something like that resto mod Cuda they just look right, not so on a factory type restoration,
One things for sure, if that thing rolled past the vast majority would rubber neck it!

Your car shouldn’t be sitting that low, even on - 1 inch springs….
